Languages Skills Day
Friday 26th June 2009
On Friday 26th June, Wren Class took part in a Languages Skills Day at Ridgeway School.

There they met up with other Year 5 children from Wroughton, Chisledon, and Bishopstone Schools. They were all divided into 8 groups, each containing members of all the schools. These groups rotated around teaching rooms, carrying out activities based on the nursery rhyme 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' in French, Spanish, German and Italian.

The children were assisted by Ridgeway Year 9 pupils and some German exchange students. It was a busy day, but a great opportunity to see how skills from one language would transfer to another.
