On Tuesday 7th November we attended a service of Remembrance at St Andrew's Church.
The Revd Bill O'Connell talked about remembering in the widest sense, and how important it is to us, to remember special days and important events. He tested our memories, with the help of some members of Year 3, by playing a version of 'Kim's Game', challenging us to remember a selection of pictures.
We remembered not only members of the armed forces but also other services such as the police, fire and ambulance services.
Some Year 6 pupils read the poem 'In Flanders Fields' and two Year 5 children read the prayers.
Thank you to the family members and friends who joined us for this service.
