Science Dome
Last updated 22.02.23

On Thursday 26th January a mysterious object appeared in the school hall.

This was the Science Dome!

Throughout the day all the classes experienced inspiring and informative sessions on our Earth, the Environment and Climate, and Pollution, particularly in relation to plastics in the oceans.

Each session was tailored to the understanding of the age group involved and explained how we can use technology and data to help us to understand and combat the problems. We also looked at simple ways that we can help, by taking care not to allow plastic waste to get into drains, where it will eventually end up in the seas.

All the children came out of the sessions saying how much that they had enjoyed and learned from the experience.

Thank you to Neil from Science Domes for a really exciting day!
