 As part of our build up to the day we were very excited to have famous children's author Jeremy Strong visit the school on Thursday 25th February.

For World Book Day on Thursday 4th March we had a very special activity for the whole school.
We had to write a story in the style of Jeremy Strong.
First in our assembly we chose the names for the school and the characters. They were:
- School: Grimsville School for Turnips
- Children: Sausage, Flipflop & Gorgonzola
- Class Teacher: Mr Tiddlywinks
- Head Teacher: Mr Chicken-Drumstick
Each class has to contribute a different chapter of the story using a starting point supplied to them.
