The last whole school activity that we were able to do before closure last March was What's Under Your Feet?, so it was great that it was also our first this term.
This time we spread over 2 days, 6th and 7th October, with each class working separately.
The children dug up 30cm squares of turf from the school field, the area by the school garden, and the green space next to school. The recent damp autumnal days brought good conditions of worms in particular and made digging fairly easy, with being too muddy!
