Wednesday July 3rd was our Sports Day, at the second time of asking, and the weather couldn't have been better.
Reception / Key Stage 1
In the morning, Reception and Key Stage 1 were competing for their houses, but their total scores weren't revealed, as they were carried over to be added to the KS2 points in the afternoon.
After the children had competed, there was time for some pre-school races and some keenly fought Mums' and Dads' Egg and Spoon Races.
Key Stage 2In the afternoon it was KS2's turn to compete in their houses for the House Sports cup.
The building works at school meant that the 'Long Run' had to take a slightly different route, but it was still a serious test for the runners, so well done to all.
The points totals from the Reception / KS1 runs were added in at the end and once more, like last year, they changed the final positions.
All houses competed enthusiastically and all houses had outstanding individual performances, so congratulations to everyone for competing in such a good spirit!
