On Tuesday 23rd May, we attended the Earth Summit at Coleshill.
This is an annual event attended by Year 5 classes with workshops focusing on environmental issues and things that we can do to reduce our negative impact on the environment. We were one of 4 schools at the event on that day. Our three groups took part in four workshops each, with each groups doing different combinations.
Our groups looked at Energy Use, Alternatives to Plastics, The Water Mill, Organic Vegetable Production, Compost Making and Water Use.
The day started with each school making a short presentation about a survey of various environmental impacts in their school.
